Charitable Trust

CHP Charitable Trust was established by Chelmer Housing Partnership in March 2003 to facilitate community development in Essex Neighbourhoods.

The Trust works in partnership with voluntary agencies to add value to community-based projects with the ultimate aim of improving people's quality of life. The Trust provides funding to enable projects to expand and grow over time. This way, both existing and potential tenants and service users of CHP can benefit from the Trust's work.

The trust has four key objectives:

  • Providing youth facilities

  • Enhancing skills

  • Promoting healthy living

  • Tackling financial exclusion.
