You can make payments online using the BillPay web site. Please have your debit or credit card details and your seven character account number beginning with D (shown on your invoice) ready. The BillPay web site will guide through the process. If you have any problems, contact CHP's Income Management team on 01245 613017.

We realise that people's personal circumstances may change and that this can make it difficult to meet your payments. If you get behind with your payments, for whatever reason, we will take a firm but fair approach in helping you to bring them back up to date. Talk to us if you are having difficulties.

We want to give you some extra help to sort out your payments if you have specific needs. You may have difficulty with English, have a disability, or be unable to leave your home. If you have difficulties in meeting your payments, contact our Income Management team on: 0845 155 3000 or email imt@chp.org.uk.

We can then talk to you about your financial circumstances and give you advice on benefits you might be entitled to. We will try to work out a realistic plan to help you pay off your arrears.

Rent Restructuring

In 2002 the Government introduced a new scheme called Rent Restructuring. From 1st April 2007 there is a government formula which sets out how CHP sets it rent. We have to calculate what the target rent would be and then gradually change the rent you pay to that level.

Service Charges

Service charges are costs that CHP incur in providing shared facilities in blocks of flats and sheltered housing schemes.
