Will I get sick pay if I am employed but not able to work due to coronavirus?

You can claim Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) for every day you are self-isolating if you started on or after 13 March. You must self-isolate for at least 4 days to be eligible for SSP.

SSP is paid by your employer in the same way as your normal wages. You should still inform your employer if you are unable to work due to coronavirus.
