Coronavirus update

The majority of our region has now been placed into tighter Tier 4 (Stay at Home) restrictions, due to the very rapidly rising level of infections.

In response to this we are making some immediate changes to the way we deliver our services, to ensure that everyone is kept safe.

From Monday 21 December we will be delivering our services as follows –

  • We will be delivering an essential repairs-only service. If you have a non-essential repair booked we will be in touch if this needs to be postponed. If you need to book a new non-essential repair please contact us and we will let you know when this can be booked in;

  • We will continue to carry out required regular electrical and gas safety testing in homes wherever possible, in line with current government guidance. If we are due to visit your home but you or a member of your household is showing symptoms of coronavirus or self-isolating, please let us know and we will reschedule for a later date;

  • If we need to carry out work in your home we will follow current guidance on social distancing and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). We will ask that you help us keep everyone safe by staying in another room if possible, and keep areas well ventilated while we are inside your property;

  • We will continue to carry out external work on our properties where it is safe to do so. We ask that you please keep a safe two metre distance if you see our team members working;

  • If you are due to move home our team will be in touch with an update. If you have not heard from us please phone 0300 555 0500;

  • Regular cleaning in our blocks andsheltered schemes will continue. Communal areas in our sheltered schemes remain closed to keep everyone safe;

  • We are checking in regularly with people living in our homes who may require additional support. This includes everyone living in our sheltered housing schemes and customers who are older and living alone.

If you have any further questions or concerns please call our Service Centre on 0300 555 0500. We will do what we can to help you.
