Update on our services during the third national lockdown

During the current national lockdown we are doing everything we can to keep our customers and people safe. We are monitoring the situation closely so that we continue to work within the latest Government and public health guidelines.

Our services are currently working as follows:

  • We are delivering an essential-repairs only service. If you need to book a new non-essential repair please contact us and we will let you know when this can be booked in;

  • We will continue to carry out required regular electrical and gas safety testing in homes wherever possible, in line with current government guidance. If we are due to visit your home but you or a member of your household is showing symptoms of coronavirus or self-isolating, please let us know and we will reschedule for a later date;

  • If we need to carry out work in your home you will be required to wear a suitable face covering. We will ask that you help us keep everyone safe by staying in another room if possible, and keep areas well ventilated while we are inside your property. We will follow current guidance on social distancing and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including face coverings;

  • We will continue to carry out external work on our properties where it is safe to do so. We ask that you please keep a safe two metre distance if you see our team members working;

  • Regular cleaning in our blocks and sheltered schemes will continue. Communal areas in our sheltered schemes remain closed to keep everyone safe;

  • We are checking in regularly with people living in our homes who may require additional support. This includes everyone living in our sheltered housing schemes and customers who are older and living alone;

  • We are continuing to do all we can to support anyone who is struggling to pay their rent due to coronavirus. We will not evict anyone due to pandemic-related financial difficulty and we are happy to agree a special arrangement with anyone who is concerned about paying their rent. We can also help you to to claim any benefits you may be entitled to.

If you have any further questions or concerns please call our Service Centre on 0300 555 0500. We will do what we can to help you.
