We’re delighted to announce that we have successfully been placed in the Top100 Sunday Times Best Not-For-Profit Organisations to Work for 2018, ranking at 66th place.
This is the first time we have carried out the Best Companies survey which is the largest of its kind in the UK.
In addition to being named a top Best-Not-For Profit Organisation, we were also named one of the top 25 Housing Associations in the country. The survey also saw us awarded a Best Companies one star accreditation, signifying very good employee engagement. The accreditation is awarded to businesses that demonstrate a true commitment to creating an engaging and uplifting environment for staff who work there – the focus being celebrating those companies who are making the “world a better workplace”.
The survey was completed by nearly 90% of our staff, and analysed staff responses on 70 questions in eight key categories: Fair Deal; My Manager; My Team; Leadership; Giving Something Back; Personal Growth; My Company and Wellbeing.
Keith Andrew, our chairman of the Board of Trustees said: “This is the first time we’ve carried out the Best Companies survey so we’re proud to have been recognised as a top employer. We want to continue to recruit and retain talented people and have a large programme of support, development and benefits to help us achieve this.”
Our Chief Executive Stuart Stackhouse said: “We are delighted our employees feel CHP is a great place to work, a sentiment I have always agreed with. Our employees are all hugely committed to providing excellent services for our residents and are our greatest asset as a company.”
The Best Companies one star accreditation and ranking in the ‘Top 100 Not-For-Profit Organisations to Work for 2018’ list is another significant achievement for us. Over the past year we have also been ranked in the top 50 for both social housing landlords and biggest builders by respected housing industry publications.
