Storm Dennis advice

Weather warning Storm Dennis is expected to bring more disruptive winds to our region this weekend. Please take extra precautions, especially if you are planning to travel, and keep any eye on weather forecasts before heading out.

We are putting plans in place to deal with any damage to properties caused by the storm, with extra teams on hand to deal with urgent issues. If you are a CHP customer and your home is affected by storm damage please call us on 0300 555 0500 or use My home.

There may be a delay in answering your call depending on the volume of enquiries we are receiving, but we will get to your call as soon as we can. You can help prevent damage by securing or removing any loose items outside your home.

On Monday 17 February we may experience an increase in calls due to the storm, so if your call is not urgent then you may wish to call back later in the week. There may also be delays to scheduled appointments, and we will contact customers if these need to be rescheduled.

We responded to over 120 calls related to damage caused by Storm Ciara and saw a 50% increase in calls to our repair line on Monday 10 February. The majority were reports of fallen fences, broken chimneys and damaged TV aerials.
