We are delighted to announce that we have secured a place for the fourth year running in Inside Housing’s survey of the Top 50 Biggest Builders.
The organisation was ranked 40th in the country for the number of homes completed in the 2018-19 financial year. Having recently reached a milestone of 10,000 homes, this places us as fifth in the league table of the number of homes completed by comparison to its size.
During the last year (1 April 2018 to 31 March 2019) we built 328 affordable homes across Essex and invested £54.4 million into the local economy. We have ambitious aims to complete another 365 new homes or a new home a day in the 2019-20 financial year.
Chief Executive Mary Gibbons said: “We’re extremely proud of our achievements in helping to meet housing need by providing high-quality affordable homes. We know there is more to do which such a huge shortfall in how much housing is available. We invested over £54m last year in creating communities where people love to live and will be doing even more this year to help bridge the gap between supply and demand.”
Nicola Sawford Chair of Board said: “CHP has big ambitions. We are here to help meet housing need by providing a range of homes and generating year on year growth. Being included in this list for a fourth year demonstrates our continued commitment to supply much-needed homes.”
