Top tips for using our new online services

Using our new online services makes it easier than ever to manage your account with us. From paying bills through to making noise complaints, you can now handle everything at just a few clicks of a button. Richard Hawkes, our Digital Delivery Manager, gives his top tips on how you can make the most of your online account to help manage your finances and much more.

Have your customer reference number ready

To sign up and register for your online account, you need to have your customer reference number at the ready. You can find this 14-digit number at the top of any paper statement that you’ve previously received from us. You can also find your customer reference number in the welcome pack you got when you started living in your home.

Keep us updated with your correct email address and surname

It’s important that you keep us up to date with your correct details, so that when it comes to registering for your account, everything runs smoothly. Your surname might now be different, and your email address might have changed from when you first became a customer. Please let us know of any changes to your information.

You can use a phone or tablet, as well as a computer

Any device with a modern web browser will work when using our online services; you just need to be able to get to our website. We’ve designed the website so that it works just as well on a phone or tablet as it does on a computer. So there’s no need to worry about the screen being fiddly, small or difficult to read. It’s easy to use on all devices and it lays out the information in a really clear way. 

With our online services, you can get help and keep on top of on your account 24 hours a day, seven days a week. So, you can truly make managing your home work around your schedule.

Plan ahead

If you want to get ahead of the game in terms of organising your payments, you can. In the ‘what’s coming soon’ section of your online account, you’ll be able to view all of your upcoming repairs, rent payments and statements. 

If English isn’t your first language and you’d rather manage your account in your native tongue, it’s just one click away. When you go to the website and sign in to your online account, if you go to the top of the page, you’ll find a button with the word ‘Translate’ on it and an icon of the globe. Click on this and you can translate it into one of more than 90 different languages.
