CHP logo We are pleased to announce we have appointed a new Chief Executive.

Mary Gibbons who is the current chief executive at Hundred Houses Society, a housing association based in Cambridge has been named as our new chief executive.

With over 20 years’ experience working in housing, Mary has held various senior positions including Housing Director and Executive Director of Strategy and Support at Swan Housing Association.

Having studied Housing Management and Development at Anglia Ruskin University in Chelmsford, Mary holds an MBA from the University of Essex and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Housing. Currently an Advisory Board Member with Essex Business School, Mary is also a Non-Executive Director at Origin Housing and Iceni Homes.

Keith Andrew, our Chair of the Board of Trustees said: “Mary has extensive experience in the social housing sector. She will be a tremendous addition to our management and governance arrangements, as well as an advocate for resident involvement and engagement across the company.”

Mary is expected to begin her new role in July 2018 when our current chief executive Stuart Stackhouse will leave after leading the organisation for 16 years. During this time Stuart successfully oversaw the transition of the company into the largest provider of affordable homes in the county, with high levels of service performance and customer satisfaction and involvement.
