We’re delighted to share our Service Centre and Direct Labour Organisation (DLO) trade team were both finalists in last night’s 24housing awards, both taking home ‘Highly Commended’ in their respective categories.
24housing magazine is a recognised industry publication, and their awards recognise and reward the best in the housing industry, awarding outstanding organisations who demonstrate their ability to provide excellent services and vital resources to their customers.
Our Service Centre were awarded Highly Commended for ‘Customer Service Provider of the Year’. Judges commended our highly trained team for their dedication to their customers, who took 83,318 calls between 31 March 2017 and 1 April 2018.
Our DLO trade teams oversee responsive repairs, planned works, an improvement programme, voids repairs and a supply chain to over 9,500 of our homes across Essex. They were highly commended for their dedication to oversee processes to deliver excellent services to customers, and their long-standing apprenticeship programme.
Denise Kent, Director of Commercial Services who manages both teams said: “I’m thrilled the hard work of both teams has been recognised by receiving Highly Commended in their respective categories. Both work hard on the frontline providing excellent customer service, and both have satisfaction scores of well over 90%.”
For a successful hat-trick, we also received a finalist nomination for Best Apprenticeship Scheme of the year.
