As part of our commitment to providing excellent services to our residents, our repairs and maintenance team has been accredited and named as one of the best Direct Labour Organisations (DLO) in the country by the Housing Quality Network (HQN).
An HQN DLO accreditation mark is a visible sign that our services meet and exceed good practice standards following scrutiny by a reputable and independent organisation.
We have achieved Investors in Diversity stage one in 2015.
We have been accredited by the CCA Global Standard which sets out key principles designed to increase the reliability and effectiveness of the customer contact operation. It is created by combining the experience of interested parties, such as customer service directors, regulatory bodies and other appropriate partners.
We are delighted to have been placed at 45 in the country’s Top 50 Landlords by housing industry magazine 24Housing. Made up of housing providers from across the UK, the list is designed to celebrate the excellent work of the social housing sector’s very best landlords.
We were finalists in the 'Excellence in Annual Reports' category at the Tpas Awards - South Region 2017.
We were finalists in the 'Welfare Wise' category at the 24housing awards 2015.
The prestigious Essex Business Excellence awards 2014 saw us become finalists in the 'Community' category after we entered our award winning Parkside Community Hub.
2014 Winner of ‘Most Effective Financial Risk Management Approach’. We have been commended for our strong focus on risk management, not just financial but operational too. Key areas of praise include our forward thinking approach to managing the impact of the welfare reform on both our residents and business.
We won the ‘Partnership Working’ category in the 2014 Neighbourhood and Home Watch (NHW) awards. The NHW awards celebrated the work of our Housing Management Co-ordinator and volunteers to reduce antisocial behaviour on a housing development in Clacton-on-Sea.
National Housing Federation Community Impact awards 2012 – Winners. We won the National Housing Federation ‘Building Futures’ category after nominating the Parkside Community Hub. Demonstrating how we help our residents, the awards celebrated projects which have had a positive impact on people’s lives.
Our Green Space scheme, in Mendip Place, Chelmsford, Essex, was winner of a Green Apple award for the Built Environment and Architectural Heritage for the 'most environmentally friendly housing association project'.
Bronze winner of the What House 2011 awards for 'Best sustainable development'.
2010 winner of the Essex Business Awards ‘Constructing Essex’ category. Commended for our “professionalism and enthusiasm” we were recognised for providing high-quality affordable family homes - and creating new communities - throughout the county.
