Introducing our new Community Safety Team
In November 2025, we set up a new Community Safety Team after listening to customer feedback and reviewing how our teams were structured. The team's aim is to make your communities safer, cleaner, and more pleasant places to live.
What does the Community Safety Team do?
The team is made up of two specialist areas, each with a clear focus.
1. Supporting customers and tackling anti-social behaviour
Our ASB & Intervention Team focuses on anti-social behaviour (ASB) that affects customers and neighbourhoods. They work directly with people experiencing issues and take action to resolve problems as quickly and effectively as possible.
The team also supports victims and survivors of domestic abuse. They work closely with local domestic abuse services to make sure customers can access the right help and support when they need it.
Although this team is still relatively new, we’re already seeing improvements in customer satisfaction in this area.
2. Looking after shared spaces
Our Community Team is responsible for the shared areas we manage, such as:
-
car parks
-
communal gardens and green spaces
-
hallways, stairs, and lifts in blocks of flats
Their role is to improve the look and feel of these spaces and make sure they’re safe, clean, and pleasant for everyone to use.
They’ve already made a big difference by tackling fly-tipping and removing items left in communal areas, especially in blocks of flats. There’s much more planned over the coming months to continue improving these shared spaces.
