Meet the Ombudsman

The Housing Ombudsman is a service that looks at complaints about registered housing providers. The service is available to anyone who has any issue or dispute that they wish to raise about their provider. The Ombudsman works with customers and providers to resolve complaints, and is free, independent and impartial.
We are hosting an online Meet the Ombudsman event on Wednesday 24 November from 11am-12pm via Microsoft Teams. You’ll be able to learn more about the service and how it could help you. You will also have the opportunity to put your questions to the Ombudsman directly.
Some of the things you may want to ask include –
- What type of complaints can the Housing Ombudsman look at?
- When can I contact the Ombudsman about an issue with my provider?
- What happens when the Ombudsman investigates a complaint?
(Please note the Ombudsman will not be able to respond to specific cases on the day)
