We are delighted to announce that Neil Perrins has joined its executive management team as Chief Finance Officer.

We’re celebrating the delivery of 106 new affordable homes at the Chelmer Waterside development in Chelmsford. The delivery of these homes means that we have now provided 4,000 new properties since starting our development programme in 2006.

An innovative new scheme is launching in Essex to give young people first hand experience of working on all stages of a construction project, from design and build through to demolition.

Future Builders is being established by Chelmsford-based charity Essex Youthbuild and Essex-based housing association CHP to give young people from all backgrounds a chance to learn construction outside the classroom.

A red extreme heat warning has been issued for Monday 18 July and Tuesday 19 July. This is the highest warning level issued by the Met Office, meaning there is a potential risk to life.
