September is World Alzheimer’s Month, which aims to raise awareness and show support for people living with dementia and those who care for them. To mark the occasion, we’ve put together a list of regular events happening across Essex for those affected by dementia. These events offer fun, relaxation, and a chance to connect with others. 

From Singing for the Brain, which brings people affected by dementia together to sing a variety of songs they know and love, to seated movement and relaxation groups, which involved gentle stretches, there’s a wide variety of activities to get involved in. 

All events are free to attend, but booking is essential. To reserve your spot or find out more, email essexgroups@alzheimers.org.uk or call 0333 150 3456.
