Want to save money this half-term? Find out where children can eat free

As the half-term rolls around again, we’ve compiled a list of restaurants and cafes that are offering a helping hand to families. There’s lots of eateries with exclusive offers to help reduce the cost of dining out for families this half-term.

Here’s a selection of places where children can eat for free or at a reduced cost this October:

  • ASDA: Children eat for £1 all day, every day without any adult spend required;
  • Beefeater, Table Table and Brewers Fayre: Two children under the age of 16 can get a free breakfast with one paying adult;
  • Hungry Horse: Children eat for £1 on Mondays and up to two children can get a free breakfast with one paid adult breakfast;
  • Sizzling Pubs: Childrens mains are £1 with every adult meal on Mondays, 3-7pm;
  • IKEA: Get a kids pasta and drink for 95p every day from 11am, and other childrens meals are available for £1.50;
  • Morrisons: Spend £4.49 to get one free child’s meal all day, every day;
  • Bills: Two children can eat for free all day, Monday to Friday with the purchase of an adult main course;
  • Bella Italia: Children eat for £1 with any adult main, from 4-6pm Monday to Thursday;
  • Pausa Café at Dunelm: Children can get one mini main, two snacks and a drink for free following a £4 spend after 3pm;
  • Preto: Children up to age 10 can eat free all day ith a voucher from the website;
  • Whitbread Inns: Two children under 6 can eat for free with every purchased adult breakfast.
  • YO! Sushi: Children will eat for free with every £10 adult spend;
  • Gordon Ramsay Restaurants: Children under eight years old eat for free all day, every day;
  • Sainsbury's cafe: Kids eat for £1 with any adult hot meal purchased from 11.30am everyday;
  • TGI Fridays: Free kids meal with an adult main, all day, every day for Stripes Rewards members;
  • The Real Greek: Kids eat for free on Sundays following a £10 spend;
  • Whitbread Inns: Two children under 16 eat for free with every adult breakfast;
  • Dobbies garden centres: Kids eat free with each full priced adult meal everyday from 12pm. 

 

If you’re planning a getaway this half term, a day out or or are local to the below locations, you can access these deals:

  • Travelodge: Free breakfast for two children up to the age of 15 with every paying adult;
  • Premier Inn: Buy one adult full Premier Inn breakfast and two children can eat for free. Up to two children can also stay for free with a paying adult; 
  • Heathrow airport: Children can eat for free between 20 and 29 October at participating restaurants in the airport. Discover which places are offering this here.

The validity of these offers may change, so please check your chosen restaurant’s website before visiting.

If you’re looking for a fun activity to get your children involved with, why not come along to our free Halloween cooking class on Wednesday 25 October? Children can learn new skills and make their own food at our Parkside Community Hub. All you need to do is reach out to our Community Engagement team and let them you’d like your children to attend. The class is suitable for children aged 8-12 years old.
