Want your voice to be heard? Here's how you can get involved...
When it comes to where we live, all of us should have a say in how things are managed. Whether you’re concerned about something relating to your home, or within your local community, we believe that your voice should be heard. That’s why we have set up several different groups, forums, and panels so that you can tell us about the differences you want to see. Victoria Firth, our customer engagement lead, talks through some of the ways you can get involved.
Suggest a Bright Idea
The Bright Ideas scheme is for exactly that – your great suggestions. If something suddenly comes to you that you think would improve our service, bring your community together, or make our homes better, this is where you should let us know. Submitting your suggestion is easy, you just go to the Bright Ideas webpage and fill in the form with your details as well as your bit of smart thinking.
Join our Sounding Board
If you want somewhere where you can share your opinions, thoughts, and feelings regarding home or community issues, then why not consider joining our Sounding Board group. Anyone living in a CHP home can sign up. You’ll receive a feedback form every couple of months or so, where you can let us know about anything that’s on your mind about how we’re managing things. We then collate this information, along with the feedback forms of other group members, and use it to help influence and shape our future policies.
Take part in the Repairs and Planned Maintenance Group
We know that repairs and maintenance are a priority, so we have a group that just focusses on this one topic. By joining this group, you can have a direct say in how we carry out repair and maintenance work in your community. You will not only be able to hear the latest about new and upcoming procedures and policies we’ve got planned, but you’ll also be able to serve as a spokesperson for your neighbours and our other customers. If there are ways that we can improve, we want to hear them.
Give us Your Views on Our News
Perhaps you’d like a way that you can change the way in which we communicate with you. We understand the importance of sharing the information you want, when and how you want it. We know we can have the best ideas and ways of working but, if we don’t communicate them well, then you won’t know about or be able to understand them fully. Joining the Your Views on Our News group is the best way to tell us what you (and other customers like you) would like from our magazine Your Home, Annual Report, website, social media, and other communications. That could be a small tweak or a big change, perhaps even something completely new. We’d love to know.
